Before you start
Kaufland Global Marketplace is one platform across several countries. A seller account and its key pair both come from Kaufland, and the application runs through us: gather your company name, brand name, first and last name, phone number, the marketplaces you sell on, your annual revenue through marketplaces and your webshop or bol URL, then send that to support@e-tailize.com in narrative form. We assist, Kaufland decides. Tell us once you are signed up, so we can link your account.
Kaufland runs its own API, so the wizard asks for the fields of Kaufland itself and instructions written for a Mirakl marketplace do not apply. You need two values from Kaufland, a key and a secret.
We connect Kaufland for Austria, Czechia, Germany, France, Italy, Poland and Slovakia.
Steps
Create the keys in the Kaufland seller portal once your account is live: a client key and a secret key. They are easy to swap, so put the client key in "API KEY" and the secret key in "SECRET KEY". The storefront you pick in "Where do you offer your products?" decides where the connection sells.
Open "Settings" in the left sidebar and click "Connections".
Click "New connection", or open the marketplace wizard directly.
Pick "Marketplace" in the chooser and click the Kaufland logo under "Connect marketplace provider".

The wizard for Kaufland: "Fill in required connection tokens" with the fields of Kaufland Fill in "Connection name", your own reference for this connection.
Paste the value into "API KEY". The field is masked, so you see dots instead of what you pasted.
Pick the country you sell in under "Where do you offer your products?". The list holds "Austria", "Czech Republic", "France", "Germany", "Italy", "Poland" and "Slovakia".
Paste the value into "SECRET KEY". The field is masked, so you see dots instead of what you pasted.
Click "Save".
Click "Validation" in the left sidebar, pick the Kaufland tile and click "Add missing PIM tabs" on every category you sell there.
Fill the mandatory Kaufland fields on those tabs and click "Validate products". Get a product live walks through that screen step by step.
Click "Listing", pick the Kaufland tile, select your validated products and click "List content". Click "List offers" once the content is through.
What happens next
Kaufland checks your product data after it arrives, not while you send it. A run that reports nothing back is an acceptance, not an approval: the verdict follows later per EAN, and a refused product names the field that caused it.
The connection appears on the "API connections" page and as a card under "Existing connections" on the dashboard, and it starts feeding your dashboard, your orders and your stock. Orders from Kaufland come in under "Fulfillment" and then "Orders", with the same "Open", "Processing" and "Closed" filters as your other channels.
Common problems
Clothing will not validate while the material composition is empty, so fill it in on the Kaufland tab. The product safety contact works the same way: name, e-mail, address, phone number, URL. A length or a weight wants number and unit together, for example 250mm, and you fix that on the Kaufland tab. Category requirements change, so check them at the source.
