The short answer

How do you start selling on Conrad?

Conrad runs a B2B marketplace for technical supplies, and you publish under your own seller account. Per product Conrad wants an article number plus an EAN or manufacturer part number, brand, sales unit and content quantity. You ship from your own warehouse in Europe and put a tracking number on every parcel. e-tailize prepares your brand for the channel, then runs catalogue, translation, listing quality, stock and orders.

Benefits of integrating

Six reasons to pair Conrad with e-tailize.

We know what this channel weighs

Conrad is built around technical supplies for professionals. We read your range through that lens and present your brand in terms buyers here recognise.

German technical copy without a translation project

Titles, specifications and attributes are translated and sharpened on the way in, so offers read as if a German product manager wrote them.

The attribute fields that decide it

Sales unit, content quantity, brand and identifiers are mandatory. A PIM keeps them complete per category, not per spreadsheet.

Reorders, not impulse purchases

Procurement teams come back for the same part. Availability, delivery time and clean specifications outweigh a discount.

No overselling once a second channel runs

Stock rules sit on one operating layer, so a B2B order here and a consumer order elsewhere never fight over the last piece.

The same base, 200+ marketplaces

Everything you prepare for Conrad starts the next channel. Expanding becomes a decision, not a project.

What to sort out before you publish

Good to know

Questions sellers ask about Conrad.

What does selling on Conrad cost?

Conrad publishes two seller costs: a subscription of EUR 99 per month excluding VAT, and a commission of 5% to 15% of the net item price, also excluding VAT, depending on the product type. Shipping revenue stays outside it. Example: a EUR 200 item in a category at 10% costs EUR 20 in commission, on top of the EUR 99 for the month. The e-tailize program sits separately, from EUR 249 per month.

Who actually buys on Conrad?

Registered business customers, over 2 million of them: purchasing officers, maintenance engineers, laboratories, schools, public services and production sites. Private consumers never see marketplace offers, which changes the listing: specifications, delivery time and packaging units decide.

What product data does Conrad expect?

Per product an article number of your own plus an EAN or manufacturer part number, the brand, the sales unit and the content quantity, with category, images and description. Legally required data such as energy labels comes along. The PIM holds those fields once, so the product stays complete downstream.

Who ships the orders and who handles returns?

You do. Sellers ship from their own warehouse in Europe and put a tracking number on every parcel. No invoice travels inside the box, because Conrad Electronic SE issues it on your behalf. Business buyers have no statutory right of return, so anything beyond that is your call.

Can I sell on Conrad from outside Germany?

Conrad sets requirements per country shop. For the German marketplace it names a registered company address and VAT registration in Germany, warehousing in Europe and a tracking number per shipment. Whether your brand gets in here, and whether it pays off, is what the free exploration call is for.

Why go through e-tailize instead of arranging it yourself?

You always sell under your own seller account. We know what this channel looks for and present your brand that way, then the software takes the rest: catalogue, translation, listing quality, stock and orders. The fee follows the new revenue, so we win only when you win.

Costs & conditions

Conrad's setup, in plain English.

For Conrad and every channel after it you work with one e-tailize program. You pay along with the marketplace revenue we build together, never per product. Conrad charges its own subscription plus commission per sale, and we walk through both first.

The exploration call and the marketplace scan are both free. The program starts at โ‚ฌ249 per month, paid at signing, and the fee follows the new marketplace revenue we create together. Cancel any month.
