Selling on Brico.
Brico is the DIY name of Maxeda in Belgium and Luxembourg, and since 2023 its webshop and app also carry a marketplace built on Mirakl. We know what a Maxeda aisle weighs in a range, and our software carries catalogue, translation, listing quality, stock and orders.

- Range weighed against the Maxeda aisles
- Catalogue loaded into the PIM
- Dutch, Flemish and French copy written
- Compliance paperwork collected
- Stock and orders in one flow
How do you start selling on Brico?
You sell on Brico through the Maxeda marketplace, the same one that carries Praxis in the Netherlands, so your offer is built for both audiences at once. Maxeda asks for a professional DIY or garden range, complete data, copy in Dutch, Flemish and French, and proof that your production and timber follow its policies. e-tailize prepares that case, then runs catalogue, stock and orders from one place.

Six reasons to pair Brico with e-tailize.
One subscription, buyers in two countries
Because Maxeda operates Brico and Praxis on the same platform, that monthly amount buys you shoppers in Belgium and Luxembourg as well as in the Netherlands.
Dutch, Flemish and French, written not translated
Three language versions of every title and attribute is where most ranges stall. Our software writes them on the way in and keeps them aligned when a product changes.
The compliance file, ready before it is asked for
Social compliance proof and timber certification sit with your product data, so the file is complete instead of scattered across mail threads.
A range shown next to a chain people know
More than 150 stores stand behind the site, and marketplace items appear inside the same webshop and app shoppers already open for a project.
Stock that never oversells a pallet
Brico stock stays level with every other channel you run, and orders land in one screen with the tracking a buyer expects on a bulky item.
The same base opens the next 200+
What you built for Maxeda, from attributes to compliance, starts the next marketplace. Expanding turns into a decision instead of a project.

What fits the Brico aisles
Maxeda takes a professional DIY, garden and home improvement range: tools, building materials, sanitary ware, lighting, outdoor living and the accessories a project needs.
What has to be sorted first
A product outside the Maxeda DIY and garden categories will not be listed, and neither will an item whose paperwork is thin. The law of the country of sale applies to every item.
Questions sellers ask about Brico.
What does selling on Brico cost?
Two integrators that connect the channel report the same model: no setup fee, EUR 66 per month excluding VAT covering Brico and Praxis together, plus 7% to 17% commission per item sold depending on the category. Sell a EUR 150 power tool in a category at 12% and EUR 18 goes to Maxeda, on top of that monthly amount. The e-tailize program sits alongside it, from EUR 249 per month.
Does selling on Brico also mean selling on Praxis?
Yes. Maxeda runs one marketplace across Brico and BricoPlanit in Belgium and Luxembourg and Praxis in the Netherlands, and sellers offer their range on both sides. That is why one monthly amount covers the pair.
What compliance proof does Maxeda ask for?
Products must meet the law of the country of sale and sit inside the Maxeda DIY and garden categories. For production in risk countries Maxeda requests a third party social compliance declaration, BSCI in practice, and timber follows its wood policy, with certification such as FSC or PEFC.
Who ships and who handles the customer?
You do. The sale is a contract between the shopper and you, not with Brico Belgium, and partners carry order management, customer service and product information. Accepted orders run within 30 days unless you agree a longer term, and e-tailize routes every order and return through one screen.
Will my brand actually get onto Brico?

Brico's setup, in plain English.
One e-tailize program covers Brico and every channel you run. You pay along with the marketplace revenue we build together, not per product. Maxeda charges its own monthly amount plus commission per sale.
The exploration call and the marketplace scan are both free. The program starts at β¬249 per month, paid at signing, and the fee follows the new marketplace revenue we create together. Cancel any month.
