The short answer

How do you start selling on TWIL?

TWIL is a French wine marketplace carrying around 30,000 references from 2,100 partner growers, and it earns only when a bottle sells. Each wine needs a real listing: a bottle shot, a description and a price. e-tailize builds that case, brings it to the channel, then keeps catalogue, stock and orders in sync, ready for 200+ other marketplaces.

Benefits of integrating

Six reasons to pair TWIL with e-tailize.

We know what a wine audience reads

Buyers here come for the house behind the bottle, not for a product feed. We put your estate, appellations and vintages in the language this audience buys in.

A wine listing lives on its bottle shot

Photo, tasting note and price carry the sale where nobody tastes first. Those fields come out of one catalogue in e-tailize, not a spreadsheet per channel.

French buyers, French words

Titles and copy are translated and sharpened on the way in, so your estate never lands half in its home language.

No selling a vintage that ran out

One stock layer feeds every channel. When the last case of a vintage leaves the cellar, the listing drops everywhere at once.

Your part stays putting bottles in a box

TWIL supplies wine grade packaging, books the carrier and keeps service, tracking and returns. We route the orders into whatever you already use.

The same base, 200+ marketplaces

What you prepare for a French wine channel starts the next one. Expanding becomes a decision, not a project.

What you can sell

Sell almost anything. Almost.

What belongs on TWIL

A wine marketplace first: still wine, sparkling and champagne from the French regions, plus spirits and a smaller other category. Bottles come from the people who made them.

What gets checked before a bottle goes live

Alcohol cannot be sold to minors in France, so age checks apply at checkout and at delivery. A listing without a usable bottle shot, a description or a price sells nothing here.

Questions sellers ask about TWIL.

What does selling on TWIL cost?

TWIL states it is paid only when you sell, so the cost sits in a commission per order rather than a monthly fee. TWIL does not publish that percentage and the wine trade press reports different figures, so we confirm the rate in force with you instead of quoting one. The e-tailize program comes on top, from โ‚ฌ249 per month.

Who ships the bottles, and what does the buyer pay for delivery?

You pack the order yourself in packaging TWIL supplies and tests for wine, and a carrier collects it. For the buyer, delivery to a relay point is free from six bottles ordered from the same seller across France. Orders also travel to eight more countries in western Europe.

What do I have to write for each wine?

One listing per wine with a clean bottle shot, a description and a price. TWIL sells professional photography and a paid package that builds and keeps the shop for you. Through e-tailize those fields live in one catalogue, so a new vintage or price lands everywhere at once.

Who handles customer questions and returns?

TWIL keeps customer service, tracking, cancellations and returns on its side, and the order money lands in an account in your own name. Your side stays the cellar and the box. e-tailize keeps order and stock data straight underneath.

What about duty and tax on orders that leave France?

Wines shipped abroad through the channel are not duty and tax paid, so those charges stay with the buyer. That shapes how you price a cuvee abroad, and we walk through it with you before a bottle crosses a border.

Is TWIL worth it for my estate?

That depends on your range, your volumes and the margin left after commission and transport. Whether your wines belong here, and whether the numbers work, is what the free exploration call is for. Our fee follows the new revenue, so we only win when you win.

Costs & conditions

TWIL's setup, in plain English.

For TWIL and every other channel you run one e-tailize program. You pay along with the new marketplace revenue we build together, never per product. TWIL takes a commission per sale and charges nothing when nothing sells.

The exploration call and the marketplace scan are both free. The program starts at โ‚ฌ249 per month, paid at signing, and the fee follows the new marketplace revenue we create together. Cancel any month.
