How do you start selling on Kaufland?
You sell on Kaufland with a business seller account, an EAN per item, the mandatory attributes of your category and product data in the national language of every storefront you switch on. Through e-tailize your catalogue connects once: we prepare and present your case, translate and lift your listings, and keep stock and orders in sync. That base then opens 200+ other marketplaces.

Six reasons to pair Kaufland with e-tailize.
Nine storefronts, one account
Germany is the anchor, eight more countries sit behind the same portal. We pick the order that suits your range.
Every shelf in its own language
Kaufland accepts product data only in the language of that storefront. Our software translates and lifts your texts on the way in.
Know your commission before you list
The percentage runs per category, so the same catalogue earns differently per shelf. We weigh price, shipping and commission together first.
Mandatory attributes filled once
Every category has its own required fields. They live in your PIM and travel to each storefront, instead of failing country by country.
Stock, orders and returns in one view
Warehouses, shipping groups and order status stay aligned with your other channels, so a storefront never becomes a second workflow.
The same base, 200+ marketplaces
What you prepared for Kaufland is the starting point for the next channel. Adding one becomes a decision, not a project.

What has a shelf on Kaufland
The commission table alone spans computers, household electronics, tools, garden, kitchen, furniture, sport, baby, toys, groceries, clothing, footwear, pet supplies and jewellery. Complete data decides whether yours competes.
What is checked before publishing
An offer missing the mandatory attributes of its category counts as invalid product data and never appears. Kaufland also removes offers that misuse the EAN system, so item data must be right first time.
Questions sellers ask about Kaufland.
What does selling on Kaufland cost?
Kaufland names a monthly basic fee plus sales commission as the only charges, with no listing fee. Basic is €39.95 per month and Plus €59.95, both plus VAT, one fee for every storefront. Commission runs 7% to 16% per category, 4% to 12% in Poland, on the gross sales price including delivery. Sell a €60 kitchen item with €4.95 shipping at 14% and €9.09 goes to Kaufland.
Which countries can I reach through Kaufland?
Nine: Germany, Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands, all from one seller portal and one basic fee. Every storefront still asks for its own language and local paperwork, and that is what we set up with you.
Do I need an EAN to sell on Kaufland?
Yes, one per item. If the item already exists in the Kaufland catalogue you add the EAN plus your own price and stock. A new item also needs the mandatory attributes of its category. Misusing that system gets offers removed, so we validate codes first.
In which language do my Kaufland listings have to be?
In the national language of each storefront: German for the German shelf, Slovak for the Slovak one. Kaufland offers free automated translation in the shop settings, and e-tailize translates and lifts your content on the way in, so titles read as written locally.
How do Kaufland orders get shipped?
You declare the warehouses you ship from and set shipping groups per storefront. Kaufland Shipment Solutions resells GLS labels from Germany to Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovakia and Czechia, with returns back to Germany. e-tailize routes the orders either way.
Why do this through e-tailize?
You sell under your own name and your own account. We know what this channel works with, we present your case, and the software runs catalogue, translation, listing quality, stock and orders. Whether your brand belongs here, and whether it pays, is what the free exploration call is for.
Kaufland's setup, in plain English.
For Kaufland and every other channel you work with one e-tailize program, priced on the new marketplace revenue we build together rather than per product. Kaufland charges its own basic fee plus commission per sale.
The exploration call and the marketplace scan are both free. The program starts at €249 per month, paid at signing, and the fee follows the new marketplace revenue we create together. Cancel any month.
