Six reasons to pair Argos with e-tailize.
Around 80 sellers is an early shelf
A marketplace that opened in August 2026 still has room in most categories. Early is worth more here than polished two years late.
We know what this channel weighs
Argos is curated, so your range, delivery promise and UK setup decide it. We prepare that case and present your brand in those terms.
British English, written not converted
A UK shopper spots translated copy instantly. The software rewrites titles and specifications on the way in.
You ship, so the promise has to hold
There is no Click & Collect and no store network behind you. Orders land in one screen and tracking flows back automatically.
Twelve working hours is a real clock
You answer every customer question within 12 working hours. Orders, tracking and returns sit in one view, so that stays workable.

What fits this shelf
Argos is strongest in electricals, toys and home. The marketplace widens that into furniture, garden, DIY, sports, beauty, pet and food.
What gets checked before you publish
Age restricted goods are allowed but regulated: bladed items and alcohol fall under the Think 25 policy, video games follow their PEGI rating. You write the listings, so accuracy is your risk.
Questions sellers ask about Argos.
What does selling on Argos cost?
Argos publishes no seller rate card. Commission is agreed in your seller contract, and the trade press covering the launch reports the fee model as undisclosed, so we quote no figure here. We check your real terms against your margin first. e-tailize comes on top: Toolkit from €229 a month, Expansion from €349, Takeover €1,500 plus a revenue share.
Is the Argos marketplace live yet?
Yes. It went live in August 2026 with around 80 Trusted Sellers on the Mirakl platform, and the shelf is still filling up. Argos said from the start that it would not be an open or unregulated platform.
Do I need a UK company to sell on Argos?
Argos asks every seller for a VAT number, a company number and a country of registration, and brands registered outside the United Kingdom are in scope. It also asks whether orders ship from stock held in UK warehousing, which weighs in the selection.
Who handles delivery and returns?
You do both. Delivery is arranged by the seller or their carrier, to UK addresses only, and Argos names DPD and Evri as examples. Customers get 30 days to change their mind, and you refund within 14 days of the goods reaching you.
Can customers collect or return marketplace items in an Argos store?
No. Click & Collect and store collection do not apply to marketplace items, and they cannot be returned to an Argos store. The customer posts the item back or you arrange a courier collection. Argos says that might change, but today the store network is not yours.
What does Argos expect from a seller?
Customer messages answered within 12 working hours, all aftersales support handled by you, and listings that stay accurate. Search ranking follows relevance, availability, ratings and reviews and overall performance, so reliable stock keeps you visible.
