Before you start

Conrad is a technical marketplace that sells to business buyers, and that shows in the product data it asks for. Have the category, the title, the brand, the item number, the content information, the part number of the manufacturer, the images and a full product description ready. Conrad charges a subscription plus a commission on every item sold, and the amounts are on their seller pages.

Conrad runs on Mirakl, the software behind most retailer marketplaces we connect, so the wizard looks the same as for every other Mirakl marketplace. You need one API key from Conrad.

We connect Conrad for Germany, Austria, France, Italy and the Netherlands.

Steps

You apply through us: send us your company name, brand name, your name, phone number, the marketplaces you sell on, your revenue there and your webshop URL. Once Conrad approves you, create the API key in their back office and take the store id from that same seller account. One connection carries one country.

  1. Open "Settings" in the left sidebar and click "Connections".

  2. Click "New connection", or open the marketplace wizard directly.

  3. Pick "Marketplace" in the chooser and click the Conrad logo under "Connect marketplace provider".

  4. Fill in "Connection name", your own reference for this connection.

  5. Paste the value into "API KEY". The field is masked, so you see dots instead of what you pasted.

  6. Pick the country you sell in under "Where do you offer your products?". The list holds "Austria", "France", "Germany", "Italy" and "The Netherlands".

  7. Fill in "Store Id".

  8. Click "Save".

  9. Click "Validation" in the left sidebar, pick the Conrad tile and click "Add missing PIM tabs" on every category you sell there.

  10. Fill the mandatory Conrad fields on those tabs and click "Validate products". Get a product live walks through that screen step by step.

  11. Click "Listing", pick the Conrad tile, select your validated products and click "List content". Click "List offers" once the content is through.

What happens next

Conrad decides, not us. Acceptance leans on your product range, your current sales and your customer satisfaction scores, so a complete application with real product data behind it is the only thing you steer yourself. Tell us once you are through, then we finish the connection for you.

The connection appears on the "API connections" page and as a card under "Existing connections" on the dashboard, and it starts feeding your dashboard, your orders and your stock. Orders from Conrad come in under "Fulfillment" and then "Orders", with the same "Open", "Processing" and "Closed" filters as your other channels.

Common problems

Leave "API KEY", "Where do you offer your products?" or "Store Id" empty and the wizard marks that field with "The value provided was not of the correct format", and "Save" does not go through. When it does, the app first shows "Please wait while we verify the entered credentials." and then "Save successful".
