Before you start
Castorama is the French do it yourself and home improvement chain of the Kingfisher group, and its marketplace has run on Mirakl since March 2024. Castorama takes on professional sellers established in the European Union whose range fits building, fixing and finishing a home. You need an approved seller account, an API key and your Store Id before you can connect.
Castorama runs on Mirakl, the software behind most retailer marketplaces we connect, so the wizard looks the same as for every other Mirakl marketplace. You need one API key from Castorama.
We connect Castorama for France and Poland.
Steps
Castorama has two tiles in the wizard, one for France and one for Poland, both named Castorama. Pick the tile of the country your seller account belongs to. Create the API key in Mirakl, the back office of Castorama, and look up your Store Id there as well.
Open "Settings" in the left sidebar and click "Connections".
Click "New connection", or open the marketplace wizard directly.
Pick "Marketplace" in the chooser and click the Castorama logo under "Connect marketplace provider".

Paste the value into "API KEY". The field is masked, so you see dots instead of what you pasted.
Pick the country you sell in under "Where do you offer your products?".
Fill in "Store Id".
Click "Save".
Click "Validation" in the left sidebar, pick the Castorama tile and click "Add missing PIM tabs" on every category you sell there.
Fill the mandatory Castorama fields on those tabs and click "Validate products". Get a product live walks through that screen step by step.
Click "Listing", pick the Castorama tile, select your validated products and click "List content". Click "List offers" once the content is through.
What happens next
Castorama sells to French shoppers, so your listings and your replies run in French; the Polish tile runs in Polish. You ship every order to the buyer yourself, by home delivery, and marketplace items cannot be returned in a Castorama store, so returns run online with you. Buyer questions get an answer within 48 working hours.
The connection appears on the "API connections" page and as a card under "Existing connections" on the dashboard, and it starts feeding your dashboard, your orders and your stock. Orders from Castorama come in under "Fulfillment" and then "Orders", with the same "Open", "Processing" and "Closed" filters as your other channels.
Common problems
Mirakl checks every offer at upload, so an item without a valid EAN, without the product type filled in, or with fewer than three images never appears. The expected format is the GTIN of 13 digits. Since the product safety rules apply, the name and European address of the responsible person are required as well.
Castorama enforces limits on content: a description is at most 2000 characters and a product carries at least 3 images.
