Questions sellers ask about The Range.
What does selling on The Range cost?
No monthly selling plan, no listing fee. You pay commission once an item sells, 11% to 15% by selling category, over the total sale including delivery. A garden item at £60 with £5 delivery sits in a 14% category, so £9.10 goes to the retailer. A gateway fee applies on top, at no published rate.
Do my products need a barcode or GTIN?
A GTIN is optional in the product feed and a unique code is generated when you leave it out. The rest is not optional: one primary selling category per item, a filled colour attribute, a title within 80 characters and full safety data.
Who ships the orders and who handles returns?
You do. You define delivery services per region with your own despatch window and cut off time, and you pick per returns case whether you send a label, collect yourself, or let the customer keep the goods. Collection on your behalf carries a processing fee based on weight.
When do I get paid?
Payments run in weekly cycles after an escrow period of 30 days. Anything past escrow queues into the next cycle, and an open customer case pauses that order until it is resolved. Bank and identity checks must be complete before your first payout.
What performance is expected from sellers?
At least 98% of items despatched inside your own stated window, and under 1% of ordered items cancelled for missing stock. Late deliveries cost 10% to 30% of the order value, depending on the delay. Accurate stock and honest despatch times are the game.
Can I sell there from outside the United Kingdom?
You need a business that is VAT registered in the UK, and serving Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland means economic operator, manufacturer and safety details in every listing. Whether your brand fits here is what the free exploration call answers.
Why go through e-tailize instead of doing it alone?
Because the work is not the connection, it is everything around it. We know what this channel looks for, we prepare and present your case, and the software handles catalogue, translation, listing quality, stock and orders. The fee follows the new revenue you make.
The Range's setup, in plain English.
One e-tailize program covers this retailer and every other channel you open. You pay along with the marketplace revenue we build together, not per product. The Range itself takes commission per sale plus a gateway fee, and nothing monthly.
The exploration call and the marketplace scan are both free. The program starts at €249 per month, paid at signing, and the fee follows the new marketplace revenue we create together. Cancel any month.
