Selling on Ripley.

Ripley is a department store group that also runs its own online marketplace, in Chile and separately in Peru, across electronics, technology, fashion, beauty, home, sport and supermarket. e-tailize prepares your brand for it, then runs catalogue, translation, listing quality, stock and orders.

The short answer

How do you start selling on Ripley?

Ripley runs its seller side on the Mirakl platform and earns a commission per category rather than a listing fee. Your part is complete Spanish product data, the right category attributes, certification where the category demands it, and a delivery flow. e-tailize prepares your case, builds the offers, keeps stock and orders in sync, and reuses that base for 200+ other marketplaces.

Benefits of integrating

Six reasons to pair Ripley with e-tailize.

Two storefronts, one prepared catalogue

Chile and Peru are separate Ripley marketplaces. One clean product record feeds both, so a second country is not a second project.

We know what this channel looks for

Category fit, price point and delivery promise decide how a brand lands here. We prepare your case and present it in those terms.

Spanish offers without a translation project

Titles, bullets and attributes are written and checked on the way in, so your pages read like local ones.

The true cost per order, before you commit

Commission, size class and the fixed charge on cheap units decide what survives. We model that per item.

Offers, stock and orders in one view

Inventory and order status stay synchronised, so a channel in another time zone never becomes a second inbox.

Questions sellers ask about Ripley.

What does selling on Ripley cost?

Ripley takes a commission per category, 5% to 30% of the gross price including VAT, most categories between 12% and 22%. Logistics is charged per unit, CLP 2.690 to CLP 21.490 by size class, plus a fixed CLP 990 on any unit sold at CLP 5.000 or less. Example: a CLP 30.000 item at 15% commission costs CLP 4.500, plus CLP 4.590 as a P1 parcel. The e-tailize program starts at EUR 249 monthly.

Does Ripley charge a subscription?

The seller documentation names no monthly platform fee. Charges arise when a sale runs through the marketplace: the category commission, the logistics tariff where Ripley operators carry the parcel, and the fixed charge on cheap units. Storage costs only enter with Fulfillment by Ripley.

Which delivery options does Ripley offer?

Carry orders with your own fleet, hand parcels to Chilexpress or Blue Express, use the crossdock flow, offer collection in a Ripley store, or place inventory in Fulfillment by Ripley. With Fulfillment, Ripley stores, picks, packs and delivers within 72 hours across almost all of Chile.

When does Ripley pay a seller?

Four payment cuts run each month, on the 5th, 13th, 20th and 28th, and an order joins a cycle once it reaches the status Received. Money is released within five working days, by bank transfer or as a Vale Vista collected at Banco Santander.

Do I need a barcode for Ripley?

The barcode field is optional in the upload sheet, so an item can publish without one. Ripley still asks for it, because reviews attach to that code and a page without reviews converts worse. In the e-tailize PIM it sits in the same record.

What does a seller need in place for Chile?

A business that has registered activity with the Chilean tax authority, can issue an electronic boleta to the buyer, prepare an order within 24 hours, and hold the certification a category demands, such as ISP for cosmetics or SUBTEL for telecom devices.

Is Ripley worth it for my brand?

It depends on your category percentage, your size class and what survives the fixed charges, and on whether shoppers in Chile and Peru buy your range. Whether your brand gets in here, and whether it is worth it, is what the free exploration call is for.
