What does selling on Free People cost?
URBN bills two things for FP MART: a monthly subscription for portal access and commission on what it collects for you. Neither amount is published and URBN can change them, so get your schedule in writing. e-tailize comes on top, from EUR 349 per month.
Who ships FP MART orders and who handles returns?
You do, on both counts. Items ship directly from the seller to the customer, normally within 48 hours, and you upload the tracking. Returns come back to you with a prepaid label in the box where the item qualifies, never to a Free People store, and there are no exchanges.
Can I sell on Free People from Europe?
Only with a shipping route inside the country. FP MART items are only available to ship within the Continental United States, and the seller agreement says URBN collects no seller tax for you outside the United States. Most European brands arrange a fulfilment partner there first.
Do my Free People prices have to match my own shop?
Yes. The seller agreement asks for parity between identical products on the marketplace and on your other sales channels. Marketplace items are also excluded from every Free People promotion, so a discount you run elsewhere does not follow the product here.
What product data does FP MART need?
Listings are created in the Mirakl portal URBN runs and follow the specifications posted there. Every product carries a tax code, imagery and copy follow the brand specification, and nothing goes live that you do not hold in stock.
