Which countries can I sell into through BILD Marktplatz?
Germany. Delivery is currently possible inside Germany only, so listings, prices and service run in German and your logistics need a German delivery promise. Buyers elsewhere in Europe come from other channels, built off the same catalogue.
Do I need EAN or GTIN codes?
Yes. Offers run through Mirakl, and a product without a GTIN fails validation on the way in. You also need a German title, the correct tax group and a category from the BILD tree. e-tailize holds that once for every channel.
Who ships the orders and who takes the returns?
You do, on both counts. Merchants hold their own stock and ship directly, so shipping costs are set per seller and calculated at checkout. Returns run at least the statutory fourteen days, longer if you choose.
How do buyers pay, and how do I get paid?
Buyers pay with PayPal, credit or debit card, or Klarna as Pay Now, invoice or instalments. Payouts run through Mirakl Payout, which also carries the identity checks, so budget time for that paperwork before the first payout lands.
