Before you start

AI enrichment and translation do not finish while you watch the wizard. You switch them on in the "PIM tabs" wizard, and after "Create tab" the work runs in the background, product by product. What the two options do is in AI enrichment and translation.

One thing decides what you see. The app counts the products that are still waiting, never a percentage.

Steps

  1. Finish the wizard and click "Create tab". The message "Product version has been successfully created" says the tabs are made, not that the AI is done.
  2. Look at the top bar. While a run is busy it carries a spinner and a line such as "AI enrichment is processing your 12 products.", or "Translation is processing your 12 products." for a translation. That number is the count of products still waiting, so 12 is only an example here. The translation line only starts counting once you reload the app or open the project again.
  3. Wait out the dialog on the product edit page. While an AI enrichment or translation action on that product is still pending, a dialog blocks the page: "Hang tight! We are translating and enriching your product information for your marketplace", or "Hang tight! We are translating your product information for your marketplace", or "Hang tight! We are creating your product information for your marketplace with AI enrichment". It stays until that product is done, so let it finish and the page opens by itself.
  4. Use the top bar line for the other products. It follows you from page to page and the AI enrichment count updates on its own.
  5. Wait for "AI enrichment is completed successfully", or "Translation is completed successfully" for a translation run. Like the translation line, that translation message only appears once you reload the app or open the project again. It means no product is waiting anymore, not that every tab got content.
  6. Open the tab of a product and read the fields the AI wrote or translated. The content is machine made, so check it before you list it.
  7. Read the dialog titled "Alert" when it appears. It carries "We couldn’t finish AI enrichment for some products in your last request. Please try again. If this keeps happening, contact support.", or the same sentence for translation.
  8. Close that dialog with "Ok". Closing marks the run as seen, it starts nothing again.

What happens next

The app does not show you what a run costs, not in the wizard and not afterwards. Ask us in the chat if you want to know what a run means for your bill, and read See and check your invoices to check an invoice you already have.

Common problems

The wizard asks "Are you sure you don’t want to proceed with AI?". You switched AI on in the first step, but no field carries the AI option in "Confirm fields". Go back and tick the fields you want, or continue and create a plain tab. Translation gets the same question.

A tab comes back without content. A field that fails to enrich stays empty and marks the tab as failed. Use the AI button on the field itself, fill the field by hand, or remove the tab and create it again.

"Too many requests at the moment. Please try after an hour". The AI service is at its limit. Wait as the message asks and start again later, do not resubmit in a loop.

FAQ

I closed the app during a run. Did it stop?

No. The work runs on our side, not in your browser. Open the app again and the top bar picks the count back up while products are still waiting.

Can a failed run be started again?

Not as one run. Remove the tab and create it again to get the content, and on a saved tab a single field carries "Generate with AI", or "Optimize with AI" when the field already holds a value. Ask us in the chat if a run does not finish.
