Before you start
vidaXL is an international online retailer of affordable furniture, garden, hardware and lifestyle goods, active across Europe, Australia and the United States. Its marketplace runs on Mirakl. Before you connect you need an approved vidaXL seller account, an API key created in the vidaXL seller back office, and your Store Id from that same account. We never see your key after you save it.
vidaXL runs on Mirakl, the software behind most retailer marketplaces we connect, so the wizard looks the same as for every other Mirakl marketplace. You need one API key from vidaXL.
We connect vidaXL for the Netherlands.
Steps
Create the API key in the vidaXL seller back office and copy it in full. Your Store Id sits with your seller account there as well.
Open "Settings" in the left sidebar and click "Connections".
Click "New connection", or open the marketplace wizard directly.
Pick "Marketplace" in the chooser and click the vidaXL logo under "Connect marketplace provider".

Paste the value into "API KEY". The field is masked, so you see dots instead of what you pasted.
Pick the country you sell in under "Where do you offer your products?". The list holds "The Netherlands".
Fill in "Store Id".
Click "Save".
Click "Validation" in the left sidebar, pick the vidaXL tile and click "Add missing PIM tabs" on every category you sell there.
Fill the mandatory vidaXL fields on those tabs and click "Validate products". Get a product live walks through that screen step by step.
Click "Listing", pick the vidaXL tile, select your validated products and click "List content". Click "List offers" once the content is through.
What happens next
vidaXL takes your content first and your offers after that: "List content" puts the product in the vidaXL catalogue, "List offers" attaches your price and your stock to it. Anything vidaXL refuses comes back in the "Listing" screen with the EAN, the field and the value it did not accept.
The connection appears on the "API connections" page and as a card under "Existing connections" on the dashboard, and it starts feeding your dashboard, your orders and your stock. Orders from vidaXL come in under "Fulfillment" and then "Orders", with the same "Open", "Processing" and "Closed" filters as your other channels.
Common problems
Mirakl marketplaces score how complete your product data is, and a product with a low score is blocked or not shown, so fill in extra attributes, the optional ones included. A key copied halfway, or one regenerated in the back office afterwards, gives a connection that saves and then moves nothing. Create a fresh key and save again.
