Before you start
Rue du Commerce is a French marketplace, and France is the only sales location we connect for it. New sellers get in by application, so you apply on their merchant page and wait for their approval first. After that you need two things from the seller back office of that account: an API key and your Store Id.
Rue du Commerce runs on Mirakl, the software behind most retailer marketplaces we connect, so the wizard looks the same as for every other Mirakl marketplace. You need one API key from Rue du Commerce.
We connect Rue du Commerce for France.
Steps
Create the API key in the seller back office of Rue du Commerce and copy it in full. Your Store Id sits there too, in the settings or on the main page of your seller account. A key from another marketplace never works here, even though the form looks the same.
Open "Settings" in the left sidebar and click "Connections".
Click "New connection", or open the marketplace wizard directly.
Pick "Marketplace" in the chooser and click the Rue du Commerce logo under "Connect marketplace provider".

The wizard for Rue du Commerce: "Fill in required connection tokens" with the fields of Rue du Commerce Fill in "Connection name", your own reference for this connection.
Paste the value into "API KEY". The field is masked, so you see dots instead of what you pasted.
Pick the country you sell in under "Where do you offer your products?". The list holds "France".
Fill in "Store Id".
Click "Save".
Click "Validation" in the left sidebar, pick the Rue du Commerce tile and click "Add missing PIM tabs" on every category you sell there.
Fill the mandatory Rue du Commerce fields on those tabs and click "Validate products". Get a product live walks through that screen step by step.
Click "Listing", pick the Rue du Commerce tile, select your validated products and click "List content". Click "List offers" once the content is through.
What happens next
When you add the PIM tab for this connection, e-tailize preselects French as the tab language, so the titles and descriptions that go to Rue du Commerce are the French ones. The content rules of the channel live in their own back office, so check them there before you list a new category.
The connection appears on the "API connections" page and as a card under "Existing connections" on the dashboard, and it starts feeding your dashboard, your orders and your stock. Orders from Rue du Commerce come in under "Fulfillment" and then "Orders", with the same "Open", "Processing" and "Closed" filters as your other channels.
Common problems
A connection that saves and then moves nothing is almost always the key: copied halfway, or created again in the back office afterwards. Make a fresh key and save again. An empty field stops the save with "Connection name is required", "Secret or Api key is a required field", "Sales location is a required field" or "Store Id is a required field". When nothing moves after that, ask in the app chat and name your "Store Id".
