Before you start

La Poste runs a marketplace for shoppers in France. You need an approved La Poste seller account before you can connect, so apply with La Poste first and wait for their approval. Your API key and your "Store Id" both live in the La Poste seller back office, so keep that open next to e-tailize. The connection name is your own reference, and the country is a dropdown in e-tailize.

La Poste runs on Mirakl, the software behind most retailer marketplaces we connect, so the wizard looks the same as for every other Mirakl marketplace. You need one API key from La Poste.

We connect La Poste for France.

Steps

Create the API key in the La Poste back office and copy it in full. The Store Id belongs to the same seller account. The tile in the wizard is labelled "LaPoste", and France is the only country it offers.

  1. Open "Settings" in the left sidebar and click "Connections".

  2. Click "New connection", or open the marketplace wizard directly.

  3. Pick "Marketplace" in the chooser and click the La Poste logo under "Connect marketplace provider".

  4. Fill in "Connection name", your own reference for this connection.

  5. Paste the value into "API KEY". The field is masked, so you see dots instead of what you pasted.

  6. Pick the country you sell in under "Where do you offer your products?". The list holds "France".

  7. Fill in "Store Id".

  8. Click "Save".

  9. Click "Validation" in the left sidebar, pick the La Poste tile and click "Add missing PIM tabs" on every category you sell there.

  10. Fill the mandatory La Poste fields on those tabs and click "Validate products". Get a product live walks through that screen step by step.

  11. Click "Listing", pick the La Poste tile, select your validated products and click "List content". Click "List offers" once the content is through.

What happens next

A listing leaves in two parts, the content first and the offers after it, and each one goes to La Poste on its own. A validation error stops a product before it leaves e-tailize, a listing error comes back from La Poste after the product was sent, so look at the listing screen again a while after your run.

The connection appears on the "API connections" page and as a card under "Existing connections" on the dashboard, and it starts feeding your dashboard, your orders and your stock. Orders from La Poste come in under "Fulfillment" and then "Orders", with the same "Open", "Processing" and "Closed" filters as your other channels.

Common problems

Three causes sit behind almost every connection that will not work: an API key that was revoked or copied wrong, a "Store Id" from another store, and a country that does not match your seller account. Check those three against your seller account first.
