Before you start

Home24 is a marketplace for furniture and home goods in continental Europe. Get your Home24 seller account approved first: the API key and the Store Id both come from the Home24 back office on Mirakl. One connection carries one sales location, so pick the country your store sells in before you start.

Home24 runs on Mirakl, the software behind most retailer marketplaces we connect, so the wizard looks the same as for every other Mirakl marketplace. You need one API key from Home24.

We connect Home24 for Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Steps

Copy the key and the Store Id exactly as the Home24 back office shows them, and pick the sales location that matches your store.

  1. Open "Settings" in the left sidebar and click "Connections".

  2. Click "New connection", or open the marketplace wizard directly.

  3. Pick "Marketplace" in the chooser and click the Home24 logo under "Connect marketplace provider".

The wizard for Home24: "Fill in required connection tokens" with the fields of Home24
The wizard for Home24: "Fill in required connection tokens" with the fields of Home24
  4. Fill in "Connection name", your own reference for this connection.

  5. Paste the value into "API KEY". The field is masked, so you see dots instead of what you pasted.

  6. Pick the country you sell in under "Where do you offer your products?". The list holds "Austria", "France", "Germany", "Switzerland" and "The Netherlands".

  7. Fill in "Store Id".

  8. Click "Save".

  9. Click "Validation" in the left sidebar, pick the Home24 tile and click "Add missing PIM tabs" on every category you sell there.

  10. Fill the mandatory Home24 fields on those tabs and click "Validate products". Get a product live walks through that screen step by step.

  11. Click "Listing", pick the Home24 tile, select your validated products and click "List content". Click "List offers" once the content is through.

What happens next

Home24 runs on Mirakl, so the platform scores how complete your product data is. A product that scores too low is taken offline or is not shown to shoppers. Filling in more attributes raises that score, the optional fields count too.

The connection appears on the "API connections" page and as a card under "Existing connections" on the dashboard, and it starts feeding your dashboard, your orders and your stock. Orders from Home24 come in under "Fulfillment" and then "Orders", with the same "Open", "Processing" and "Closed" filters as your other channels.

Common problems

Two things come back often. Descriptions in the wrong language: have them translated and list the content again. And a connection that will not save, usually a wrong Store Id, the wrong sales location, or a space in front of the value in "API KEY" or behind it.
