Before you start

E.Leclerc is the online marketplace of the French E.Leclerc group, next to its hypermarkets and its specialised stores. You need an approved seller account first, and E.Leclerc picks its sellers: professional sellers established in the eurozone, with a catalogue that fits the categories it has opened. Opening an account asks for company papers, bank details, identification of shareholders above a quarter of the shares, and a unique French identifier number under the AGEC law where that law applies.

E.Leclerc runs on Mirakl, the software behind most retailer marketplaces we connect, so the wizard looks the same as for every other Mirakl marketplace. You need one API key from E.Leclerc.

We connect E.Leclerc for France.

Steps

The value for "API KEY" is created in the seller back office of E.Leclerc, so copy it there in full. Your "Store Id" sits in that same back office, on your seller account. Both belong to E.Leclerc alone: a key from another Mirakl marketplace does not work here.

  1. Open "Settings" in the left sidebar and click "Connections".

  2. Click "New connection", or open the marketplace wizard directly.

  3. Pick "Marketplace" in the chooser and click the E.Leclerc logo under "Connect marketplace provider".

The wizard for E.Leclerc: "Fill in required connection tokens" with the fields of E.Leclerc
The wizard for E.Leclerc: "Fill in required connection tokens" with the fields of E.Leclerc
  4. Fill in "Connection name", your own reference for this connection.

  5. Paste the value into "API KEY". The field is masked, so you see dots instead of what you pasted.

  6. Pick the country you sell in under "Where do you offer your products?". The list holds "France".

  7. Fill in "Store Id".

  8. Click "Save".

  9. Click "Validation" in the left sidebar, pick the E.Leclerc tile and click "Add missing PIM tabs" on every category you sell there.

  10. Fill the mandatory E.Leclerc fields on those tabs and click "Validate products". Get a product live walks through that screen step by step.

  11. Click "Listing", pick the E.Leclerc tile, select your validated products and click "List content". Click "List offers" once the content is through.

What happens next

E.Leclerc gives every seller an account manager, who follows your integration, your launch and your performance. In the shop, a Leclerc store with stock takes the buy box and your offer moves to the secondary tab with the other offers. With no Leclerc stock, the cheapest new offer takes it. Payouts run in a weekly cycle, over orders that came in, were confirmed and had no incident.

The connection appears on the "API connections" page and as a card under "Existing connections" on the dashboard, and it starts feeding your dashboard, your orders and your stock. Orders from E.Leclerc come in under "Fulfillment" and then "Orders", with the same "Open", "Processing" and "Closed" filters as your other channels.

Common problems

When the E.Leclerc tab on a product offers only a handful of mandatory and optional fields, the field set for that category came back incomplete and listing stops. Report it in the chat and we complete it for you. Automatic translation can also skip attribute values, colours most often, so check those and correct them by hand.
