Before you start
You need a seller account at Fnac or Darty, or an application that is running.
Fnac and Darty are not in the connection wizard in e-tailize, so their logo is not between the other marketplaces and there is no form for you to fill in. Our team sets the connection up on your account instead.
Collect your details first. The connection uses a Fnac Darty key, a partner id and a shop id, and for some sellers also a Mirakl Darty API key and a store id. Fnac hands these out in its own seller tools. Fnac moved its product tooling to the new Catalog Portal early in 2026, so the API keys are managed there now.
Steps
- Check that your seller account at Fnac or Darty is active, or that your application is running.
- Log in to the Fnac Catalog Portal with that seller account and collect your API key there.
- Write down the partner id and the shop id of your seller account.
- Check whether a Mirakl Darty API key and a store id apply to your account as well.
- Ask us in the chat for a Fnac or Darty connection, and say that your details are ready.
What happens next
Our team creates the connection on your account from the details you give us. Your key is stored as a secret, so it does not end up in a chat or in a log. It is not a connection you open or manage yourself in e-tailize. We confirm when it is live and we keep it running for you.
Fnac works from one shared catalogue, so an EAN or an ISBN is mandatory and the matching runs on that identifier. A product without a valid identifier is refused instead of created, and a match lands on the existing product sheet instead of making a second one. Content is in French, and product creation through the API covers Fnac.com FR and Fnac.be. The day to day handling of your products on Fnac and Darty runs through our team.
Common problems
Your offers stopped updating. Fnac manages the API keys in the Catalog Portal since its migration, so a key that was renewed or withdrawn there can break a working connection without anything changing in e-tailize. Renew the key in your Fnac portal and ask us to store the new one.
Offers come back with errors. What you read per EAN is the message Fnac itself wrote, passed through unchanged, so judge it against the product it names and fix that product before you push again.
A push comes back with a technical message only, without a product or a field. There is nothing to read back per product, so send us the moment of the run and the message you see, and we trace that run for you.
FAQ
Can I connect Fnac myself in the wizard?
No. Fnac and Darty do not appear in the wizard, so there is nothing for you to fill in. Ask us in the chat and we set the connection up on your account.
What is the maximum title length on Fnac?
Fnac publishes its field limits in the Fnac Products API documentation, which sits behind your own seller login. Look them up in the Catalog Portal with your seller account, or ask us.
Do I need an EAN for every product?
Yes, an EAN or an ISBN. Fnac works from one shared catalogue and the matching runs on that identifier, so a product without a valid one is refused rather than created.
