Before you start

Expansion is the package we do together: we do the hard part, you sell. We pick the marketplaces that fit you, prepare and submit your applications, also via partner routes, and support KYC and onboarding. You put your products live through the e-tailize software and run your own ads and customer service.

Each marketplace decides on admission and KYC. We apply for you, but nobody can promise that a marketplace takes you, and the dates we give are indications.

bol is the exception: Expansion comes with the "bol.com Admission Guarantee". We get you on bol. Meet bol's seller requirements and deliver what we ask on time, or your fees back. It covers your admission at the start. Once bol has accepted you, it ends.

The marketplace accounts we open are in your own name from day one, with you as the seller of record.

Steps

  1. Sign the quote and pay your first month right after signing, through the checkout.
  2. Plan your onboarding call.
  3. Send the complete KYC set within 10 business days after the onboarding call: the documents each marketplace asks for to check your company.
  4. Deliver the product data, stock and prices of your launch assortment, and connect your shop or feed.
  5. Reply to us, to partners and to marketplaces within 3 business days.
  6. Once a marketplace admits you, put at least half of your launch assortment live through e-tailize within 10 business days.

What happens next

Every month we check each account that has no orders yet, and you get one fix list per account. Your fee follows the revenue on your new marketplaces, see See how your Expansion fee is set. If your quote includes the First Order Guarantee, these steps are also its conditions, see Check if the First Order Guarantee applies.

Common problems

Your input is late. Late KYC, data or replies move the work and the dates. They can also take away the First Order Guarantee, which asks you to meet the deadlines above.

A marketplace declines or waits. Admission is up to the marketplace. We tell you what it asks for, and you choose with us what to do next.

Orders on bol. On the bol accounts we open, you deliver every order to the customer within 3 working days, from the first order, or bol can close the account.

FAQ

Do new marketplaces have to run through e-tailize?

Yes. The new marketplaces in Expansion run fully through e-tailize, with your shop or feed connected.

Who owns the marketplace accounts?

You do, from day one, in your own name. Leaving or keeping an account works as in Leave Expansion or keep a marketplace account.
