Leave Expansion or keep a marketplace account

You cancel Expansion any month. Closing an account is free, and keeping one we opened costs a one time fee that steps down to zero.

Before you start

You cancel Expansion any month, by email, and it ends when the billing month ends. For every marketplace account you then choose: close it or keep it. This is how quotes on the terms of 5 October 2026 work; an older quote keeps its own exit rules. The conditions are in your quote, and where this article and your quote differ, your quote wins.

The exits below apply only to accounts we opened, or worked on with launch, listing, KYC, admission or onboarding work. An account you opened and set up yourself, without our work, is yours to keep or close at any time, free. While it runs through e-tailize, it counts for your tier.

Steps

  1. Choose per account: close it or keep it.
  2. To close an account: close it at the marketplace and send us the closure evidence, which is the marketplace's own confirmation or a dated screenshot of the closed status. Closing is always free.
  3. To keep an account: from that account's paid month 7, ask us in writing. You pay a one time fee, set by the paid months of that account:
    • paid months 7 to 12: 12x its fee of a month
    • paid months 13 to 24: 8x
    • paid months 25 to 36: 4x
    • from paid month 37: free
  4. Pay the fee. Within 14 days we complete the handover and disconnect: the account moves to you one on one, with its seller score, reviews and history.

What happens next

Each account has its own clock, from the day it opens: the day you get access or the marketplace approves you, whichever comes first. We confirm that date to you by email. The fee of a month is the average fee paid for that account over its last 3 full paid months, never less than the minimum in your quote.

Common problems

The account is not at paid month 7 yet. Until then an account we opened stays with us: we open accounts to run them with you, not for account farming. You can close it free, with evidence, or keep selling through e-tailize.

What counts as keeping. Running an account outside e-tailize, walking away without closure evidence, or reopening it or applying again on the same marketplace within 6 months after closing all count as keeping. Before paid month 7 that breaks the rule above, and your quote sets what it costs.

Nothing opened yet. If the agreement ends before you have access to or approval for any account we applied for, or every account is closed or withdrawn with evidence, there is no fee.

FAQ

Do I pay to leave an account I opened myself?

No. An account you opened and set up yourself, without our work, leaves free.

Can I close one account and keep the rest running?

Yes. Each account stands on its own. Closing one leaves the others and their billing running.
