Before you start

Your Expansion fee starts at €349 a month and rises with the revenue on the new marketplaces that run through e-tailize. €349 is the floor, so the fee is never zero. Prices exclude VAT. New marketplace revenue in a month, and the fee for it:

  • from €0: €349
  • from €10,000: €499
  • from €20,000: €699
  • from €40,000: €899
  • from €75,000: €1,199
  • above €150,000: €1,199 plus 0.75% of the revenue above €150,000

Your quote holds the ladder that applies to you, and where this article and your quote differ, your quote wins.

Steps

  1. Take the revenue of one calendar month on the new marketplaces that run through e-tailize, as each marketplace reports it.
  2. Leave out the VAT, and take off the returns: the returns and refunds of a month come off the next month. Marketplace costs never come off.
  3. Leave out the marketplaces you already sold on when you first signed: they stay free, unless we do launch, listing, KYC, admission or onboarding work there. New countries on such a marketplace count as one new marketplace, for those countries only.
  4. Find the step that revenue reaches. That is your fee for the month.

What happens next

You pay your first month right after signing. After that your fee is collected every month.

Base prepay. Once your guarantee period has ended, you can prepay €4,188 (12 x €349). It covers the first €349 of your fee for 14 months; the rest of each fee follows the ladder and is invoiced every month. The prepay is not refundable. After those 14 months the full fee is invoiced again, unless you prepay again.

From the first 1 January after signing, the fixed amounts follow the Dutch consumer price index, capped at 5% a year. The revenue steps and the 0.75% do not move.

Common problems

A marketplace is suspended. Its revenue stops and your step drops with it. Billing continues.

You stop and come back. Within 12 months you keep the same baseline: marketplaces we opened for you do not turn into free channels.

FAQ

Do I pay per marketplace?

No. One subscription covers every marketplace you add. Your fee follows your new marketplace revenue, not the number of connections.

Is there ever a month without a fee?

Only under the First Order Guarantee, when your quote includes it: see Check if the First Order Guarantee applies.
