Before you start

The First Order Guarantee comes with Expansion, on quotes on the terms of 5 October 2026 that include it. In one line: your first order within 60 days of going live, or we stop invoicing until it comes, for up to 3 months. Nothing live because of us? Your fees back. The conditions are in your quote, and where this article and your quote differ, your quote wins.

It has two cases. Each applies once, to your first marketplace: the first account you get access to or that a marketplace approves. A quote from before 5 October 2026 keeps its own guarantee, such as the 90 day money back guarantee.

On bol, Expansion also comes with the "bol.com Admission Guarantee". We get you on bol. Meet bol's seller requirements and deliver what we ask on time, or your fees back. It covers your admission at the start. Once bol has accepted you, it ends.

Steps

  1. Make your input complete: the full KYC set for your first marketplace, and the product data, stock and prices of your launch assortment, with the onboarding kickoff confirmed in writing. The 90 day clock for the nothing live case starts on the later of those two.
  2. Do your part on time: the KYC set within 10 business days after the onboarding call, half of your launch assortment live through e-tailize within 10 business days after the marketplace admits you, and replies to us, partners and marketplaces within 3 business days.
  3. Put your products live. The 60 days start on the first day at least half of your launch assortment is live for sale on your first marketplace.
  4. Watch for your first order. An order counts once the marketplace reports a customer order that is not cancelled. Orders placed by you, by us or by anyone related to either do not count.

What happens next

Live, but no order within 60 days. We stop invoicing from the next billing month until the billing month after your first order, for up to 3 months, and send you a fix list every week: listings, price band, the delivery promise per article and ads on your own budget. The pause holds while you ship from EU stock within each marketplace's delivery time (on bol: 3 working days) and act on each fix list within 5 business days. A paused month still counts as a paid month.

Nothing live 90 days after your input is complete, because of us. You get back all the e-tailize subscription fees you paid under the quote, the first month included, and the agreement ends. Claim it in writing within 30 days after that period.

Because of us means: no marketplace account came through us for a reason on our side, or the account came through but our software did not work, so you could not put your products live.

Common problems

You had access but did not list. The nothing live case does not apply when you had account access and working software but did not put your products live yourself.

You cancelled or paused. Cancelling before a period ends ends the guarantee for that period. So do pausing your sales, disconnecting the integration or taking a large part of your launch assortment offline.

Your quote has no guarantee. It is a choice per quote. If your quote does not include it, it does not apply.

FAQ

Does the guarantee promise sales?

No. It is a guarantee, not a forecast. Each marketplace decides on admission, and the guarantee says what you get when the first order does not come.

Are ad spend and marketplace costs refunded?

No. Only the e-tailize subscription fee counts. VAT, marketplace costs, shipping, ad spend and other third party costs stay outside it.
