Six reasons to pair Cdiscount with e-tailize.
We know what this channel weighs
Price, availability and delivery promise decide who wins the sale here. We put your margin, stock depth and service level into those terms.
French is the whole shop window
Titles, descriptions and buyer messages all run in French, and a flat translation reads like one. Our software improves yours on the way in.
No barcode, no offer
A valid 13 digit EAN or GTIN is the entry ticket per item, together with the attributes its category demands.
Their warehouse or your own courier
Hand stock to Octopia Fulfillment and let them pick and pack, or stay on Express Seller and ship yourself. Orders route through e-tailize either way.
Performance is measured, not assumed
Cdiscount asks sellers to keep complaints at 1% at most and deliver 99% of orders on time. Reliable stock sync keeps those numbers in place.
The same base, 200+ marketplaces
What you build for a French audience becomes the starting point for the next country. Expanding turns into a decision, not a project.

What sells here
Cdiscount runs a broad general range across 22 categories, and its own commission table shows how far that reaches.
What Cdiscount checks before an offer goes live
Product data is checked against the category and the buyer side has to work in French. After that, complaints and delivery stay under watch.
Questions sellers ask about Cdiscount.
What does selling on Cdiscount cost?
Cdiscount charges a seller subscription of €39.99 excluding VAT per month, no minimum term, plus a commission on each sale. That commission is 15% on new products outside their exception list, and otherwise follows the category: 20% on fashion jewellery, 10% on wine and spirits. Sell a new €60 item at 15% and €9 goes to Cdiscount, on top of the monthly €39.99. The e-tailize program sits separately, from €249 per month.
Do I need an EAN to list on Cdiscount?
Yes. Every item needs a valid 13 digit EAN or GTIN, and no offer is created without one. Alongside it you supply a seller reference, the right category, brand, variations and condition. In the e-tailize PIM those fields live in one catalogue.
Does my content have to be in French?
Yes. Titles, descriptions, mandatory attributes and buyer messages all run in French, and shoppers compare the detail before they buy. Our software translates and improves your listings as they go out, so specifications arrive complete rather than word for word.
Who ships the order, Cdiscount or me?
Both routes exist. With Octopia Fulfillment your stock sits in their warehouses and they pick, pack and ship. With Express Seller you keep your own courier and rates. Weigh the two per product line, and e-tailize routes orders either way.
When does Cdiscount pay me?
Once a sale is made and you confirm the shipment, Cdiscount pays out every ten days. Your subscription and the commission on each order are deducted from that transfer, so what reaches your account is already net.
Can I sell on Cdiscount from outside France?
The channel serves French shoppers and points sellers at expansion across Europe. The practical bar is French: content, categorisation, delivery promise and buyer contact. Whether your brand belongs here, and whether it is worth it, is exactly what the free exploration call is for.
Why go through e-tailize instead of arranging it all yourself?
We prepare your brand and present it to the channel, then the software does the rest: catalogue, translation, listing quality, stock and order routing from one place. You still sell under your own seller account, and the same setup carries to 200+ marketplaces.
Cdiscount's setup, in plain English.
Cdiscount and every other channel you run sit inside one e-tailize program. You pay along with the marketplace revenue we build together, never per product. Cdiscount bills its subscription and commission separately.
The exploration call and the marketplace scan are both free. The program starts at €249 per month, paid at signing, and the fee follows the new marketplace revenue we create together. Cancel any month.
We get
you on Cdiscount.
Book a free exploration call: we go through your range and what this French audience can realistically carry. The fee follows the new revenue we create together, so we only win when you win. After Cdiscount, 200+ marketplaces wait on the same base.
