Before you start
The Takeover is the package where we do the work: we open and run your marketplaces, and you approve. It starts in three moves: you sign, you plan the kickoff, you pay the first month. Nothing starts before that first month is paid. The conditions are in your quote, and where this article and your quote differ, your quote wins.
Have these ready for the kickoff: your KYC documents, access to your shop, your EANs, basic images, your margins and the documents for VAT, OSS and EPR.
Steps
- Sign the quote. Month 1 starts at signing.
- Plan the kickoff in the step that follows your signature. You pick a moment within 14 days.
- Pay the first month, €1,500 excluding VAT, before or in the kickoff, as you prefer: through the payment link on the invoice or by bank transfer.
- In the kickoff we set the scope together: your goals, logistics, brand rules and access, and which of the marketplaces you already sell on we take over.
- Once the first month is paid, you get access to the e-tailize software and we start: the marketplace plan, the applications and the setup.
What happens next
In the first 3 months we start your applications and KYC, translate and list your product data, make content on your basic images, set up the software, prepare VAT, OSS and EPR with you and put your first ads live. Timing depends on each marketplace: each one decides on admission.
After month 1 your invoices come every month, collected automatically once you add a card or direct debit.
A marketplace you already sell on and hand over to us costs 2.5% of its revenue up to its level in the same month of the year before signing, plus 5% of the growth above it. We confirm those levels per account by email at the kickoff, from the marketplace's own reports. A marketplace you keep running yourself stays free, unless we do launch, listing, KYC, admission or onboarding work there.
Common problems
You pay after the kickoff. We start once the first month is paid. Paying it after the kickoff counts as your delay for the Slow Start Guarantee, also when the due date on the invoice is later.
The first month stays unpaid. Still unpaid 14 days after a reminder, we may end the agreement, and only that first month stays due.
A marketplace declines. The first month is not refunded when a marketplace declines, delays or later closes an account.
FAQ
Can I pay in the kickoff itself?
Yes. You pay the first month before or in the kickoff, as you prefer.
Do the marketplace accounts stay mine?
Yes. Every account we open during the Takeover is yours to keep, free, and so are the accounts you already had.
