Connecting Shopify.
Shopify is the shop system you already run, and it stays exactly that. e-tailize sits next to it as the layer that carries your catalogue out to 200+ marketplaces and brings the orders back.

- Connected to your Shopify store
- Products and variants imported
- Stock mapped per location
- Orders and tracking flowing back
- Listings live on your chosen channels
How do you connect Shopify to marketplaces?
You connect Shopify through one custom app in your Shopify admin: you tick the permissions, copy the Admin API access token, and paste it into e-tailize with your store URL. Products, variants, images, prices and stock per location then travel out to the channels, while marketplace orders and tracking travel back in. The connection itself takes a few minutes, and the same base is ready for 200+ marketplaces.

Six reasons to pair Shopify with e-tailize.
Shopify stays the system you know
Your team keeps working in the Shopify admin. Nobody learns a second product screen: the catalogue you already maintain is the one that travels outward.
Variants arrive as variants
Size, colour and the rest come across as real options with their own barcode, price and stock, not one flat listing nobody can order properly.
One stock number, every channel
Shopify holds a quantity per item per location. e-tailize reads those levels and writes them onward, so a sale on one channel lowers availability on the others.
Marketplace orders in the same flow
Channel orders land next to your own shop orders. Once a parcel ships, carrier and tracking number go back onto the Shopify order, where supported carriers become clickable.
Marketplace ready content, no second catalogue
Each channel wants its own titles, attributes and categories. That happens in e-tailize on top of your Shopify data, so your storefront copy stays yours.
The same base, 200+ marketplaces
Once the catalogue is connected, the next channel is a choice rather than a project. No new export file, no second stock list.
Five steps. ~ A few minutes.

Go live and stay in sync
Publish, then let stock, prices and orders stay current in both directions.
✓Listings live✓Stock in sync✓Orders coming in
Sell almost anything. Almost.
What the connection handles
Product data outward, orders and tracking back, stock equal on both sides.
What stays inside Shopify
Your own shop stays untouched. Design, checkout and payouts are none of our business; the connection never writes to them.
Questions sellers ask about Shopify.
What does Shopify cost, and what does e-tailize cost on top?
Shopify publishes its plans: Basic €28, Grow €78 and Advanced €384 per month billed monthly, or €21, €59 and €289 billed annually, and Plus from €2,100. Shopify Payments adds an online card rate per order, from 1.9% plus €0.25 on Basic to 1.6% plus €0.25 on Advanced. e-tailize comes on top from €249 per month, and that fee follows your new marketplace revenue.
What exactly syncs, and in which direction?
Out of Shopify: products, variants, images, barcodes, prices and stock per location. Back in: the orders your connected channels produce, plus carrier and tracking number once they ship. Stock runs both ways, because a sale on any channel has to lower the number everywhere at once.
What do I have to set up once in Shopify?
One custom app in your Shopify admin, and that is it. You select the permissions for products, inventory, locations, orders and fulfilments, then copy the Admin API access token into e-tailize with your store URL. Owner access is default; staff need the App development permission.
How quickly do stock and orders update?
Shopify pushes changes as they happen through webhooks, so a stock movement, a new order or an edited product reaches e-tailize without waiting for a scheduled file. A failed delivery is retried eight times over four hours. That keeps availability trustworthy across several channels.
Do my Shopify variants survive on the marketplaces?
Yes. A product carries up to three options and up to 100 variants, and each keeps its own barcode, price and stock through the connection. Presentation differs per channel, since every marketplace has its own variant rules, so that mapping is part of the setup.
Do I keep my own shop, and can I disconnect?
You keep it, and that is the point. Storefront, domain, checkout and payouts stay inside Shopify, with no marketplace commission on what you sell there. Deleting the custom app stops the connection at once, and e-tailize is cancellable any month.
