How do you start selling on Skroutz?
You sell on Skroutz with a merchant store, an annual subscription and a product feed that follows the XML rules: unique IDs, part numbers, a full category path, images of at least 1000 pixels and prices in euro including VAT. e-tailize prepares your range, presents your case, then keeps stock, orders and listing quality in sync. Whether your brand belongs here is what the free exploration call answers.

Six reasons to pair Skroutz with e-tailize.
One country, one buying habit
Greek shoppers compare and order in the same place, and delivery reaches Cyprus and the EU too.
Feed quality decides visibility
Skroutz reads a strict XML feed. We fill unique IDs, part numbers, category paths and images so your products surface in search.
Three fulfilment models, one order flow
Core, FBM and Fulfilled by Skroutz route through the same screen, so switching model per product costs nothing extra.
Quantities that stay true
Skroutz deducts quantity on every order and adds it back on returns. Live sync keeps you selling only what you hold.
Acceptance windows you can meet
Orders expire when accepted too late. Automated routing surfaces each one as it lands.
The same base, 200+ marketplaces
What is prepared for Greece becomes the starting point for the next country. Expanding turns into a decision.

What sells on Skroutz
The catalogue is broad. Electronics, fashion, home, beauty, baby, sports, tools and pet supplies all carry documented category rules.
What Skroutz checks or excludes
A published exclusion list sits next to the category duties. Service only items such as warranty extensions fall outside, unpackaged goods get pulled, and phones, laptops and consoles need an invoice.
Questions sellers ask about Skroutz.
What does selling on Skroutz cost?
Skroutz charges an annual subscription per store, then commission per product sold, set by the pricing group that product sits in. Skroutz publishes this example: a product of €100 in a 6% group costs €6 commission, plus VAT for stores based in Greece. Ship it yourself on FBM and €1.00 handling comes on top, so €7.00 in total. Clicks cost nothing. The e-tailize program is separate, from €249 per month.
Do I need an EAN or barcode for Skroutz?
Barcode and EAN sit in the optional fields of the Skroutz XML feed. Mandatory are unique ID, title, product link, image link, price, availability, category path, manufacturer, part number, weight, description and quantity. Category rules add their own fields, filled from one catalogue.
What is the difference between Core, FBM and Fulfilled by Skroutz?
On Core you accept the order, set a pickup slot and Skroutz arranges the courier. On FBM you ship yourself and add tracking. With Fulfilled by Skroutz your stock sits in their warehouse and they pick, pack, ship and handle returns, from €0.50 per product delivered plus €0.12 packaging.
When does Skroutz pay out?
Core pays every Thursday for completed card orders, FBM on the 1st and 15th of each month. Skroutz absorbs the bank transaction cost, and a returned order is offset against your next payment. Daily payouts exist as a paid add on, Smart Finance.
How do returns work on Skroutz?
A buyer files the return in their Skroutz account. The channel reviews it, schedules pickup and notifies your store. Accepting is mandatory, though you can dispute it with photos. Replacement or compensation towards the buyer is covered, and the order value comes off your next payment.
What do Skroutz product photos and titles need?
The main image needs at least 1000 pixels on one dimension, no margins, no watermark and a white or plain background. Titles run roughly seven to ten words with type, brand, model and colour, since search leans on them.
Why go through e-tailize instead of arranging it yourself?
You keep your own merchant account. We prepare and present your case, and the software does the rest: catalogue, translation, listing quality, stock and orders. Whether your brand gets in here, and whether it is worth it, is what the free exploration call is for.
Skroutz's setup, in plain English.
Skroutz and every other channel run on one e-tailize program. You pay along with the new marketplace revenue we build together, never per product, and you cancel any month.
The exploration call and the marketplace scan are both free. The program starts at €249 per month, paid at signing, and the fee follows the new marketplace revenue we create together. Cancel any month.
